Meet Liz and Sakari, a dedicated mother-daughter duo committed to rescuing and caring for animals. With a lifelong passion for horses, they aim to make a positive impact in the community by helping wild horses in need. Having both explored various careers, they are now focused on animal rescue and raising awareness about these magnificent creatures.
Our Commitment
Horse Matters Rescue LLC. is dedicated to saving horses from slaughter, we believe in preserving the wild horse! Last year over 9,000 horses were sent to slaughter houses, and our goal is to lower that number as much as possible this year-with the numbers of the saved growing steadily higher. Horse Matters Rescue is a full service facility, offering BLM horses temporary housing and quarantine accommodations. We are aiming to accept donations to help fund feed supply, medical costs, and grooming/farrier necessities for the care of these amazing animals!
